Is there many racing at the w/e?

Dundalk is putting on a seperate A4 race and handicapping the other race.

This is an ideal race to start the season with - the road surface should be o.k. as its on a main road and with 6 laps up and around the roundabouts, nobody should be worrried about getting dropped.

If looking for directions you'll find them here:

http://www.dundalkcycling.com/knockbridge_circuit.htm

I'll be down in Kerry getting my @ss kicked on the hills by the Kerrymen.

Thanks Wez,
Hopefully I will be round and round the roundabouts.

Hoping to be at Dundalk. Legs were going like poo last Sunday so we'll see what happens, mind 6 laps might not be to bad.

Bring on the pain!

The circuit has changed back to the original one through Knockbridge.
This is about 15kms around. Rolling roads from Dundalk to Knockbridge and then usually very fast from there back to the finish.
This is a great racing circuit.

Best of luck to anyone racing on Sunday. I will bring your licences to the club spin on Saturday. Hopefully I am not snowed in again!

I know that feeling! Well done Wesley.

Thx Paul - the real mechanical difficulty was in the legs - they wouldn't pump fast enough Wink

Well done Wez in the 2-day at the weekend. Would have been a contender except for a TT mechanical difficulty.

Typical us Wheelers upsetting The Boyne Valley Manor House security systems, mind you swords did it too!

Enjoyed the BotB run. Had some delusion it might be the de-scheduled club randonnee. The political theory discussion was most illuminating; at 50km/h downhill I hear "in his seminal 1994 paper...

Club randonee in the style of a battle. Try yourube for Bicycle Jousting.

Not sure Rory but hoping to find out tomorrow. Maybe there will be a repeat of 1690, on bikes.

Sunday club cycle is "Battle of Boyne" route, what is that?

Another few years and the majority of CI members should be ready for the terminator. Who will ride the championships then?

02/09/2010 22:03
Consider yourself lucky Lenny, remember the film Logan's Run, where ya got bumped off when ya reached 30! At least CI allow you another 10 years before you are marked for termination.

Mr F that is a load of BS and there we are training like mad things for this our end of season classic. Lets do it.

No vets welcome in Waterford, Wes. You are on your own!

There's a new open race on the calendar for this Thurs in Mondello - looks like fun.
