National Basketball Arena

The West Wicklow is open to all who wish to ride. The event starts at the National Basketball Arena at 9.00am and the entry fee is 15.00 Euro. Entries will be taken on the day at the start.
There will be a stop for tea/ Coffee in Dunlavin before returning to the basketball arena.
Proceeds from this event will go to the charity

Searching for the Missing was set up in 2010 by a group of professionals with vast experience of Missing Persons.We are linked in with the Boyne Fishermen as a charitable organisation.We are a sub committee who deal directly with families,Gardai and search organisations.

Event information and costs:

The Stephen Roche Leinster Loop is a cycle sportif event over
3 distances and 3 distinct routes.

1. The Leinster Loop – 120 kms (approx)

Start time – 09.30 sharp

* Entry cost - €30 (+ €1.10 on-line booking fee)

This challenging route, taking in the counties of Kildare, Laois, Kilkenny and Carlow,
is designed for experienced and fit cyclists. It includes 20 kms (approx) in the Killeshin
Hills to fully test the strength, perseverance and stamina of the riders.

It is an extremely scenic route, but covers quite hilly terrain and your training
programme should reflect this.

2. The Cill Dara Cruise – 57 kms (approx)

* Start time – 11.00 sharp
* Entry cost - €30 (+ €1.10 on-line booking fee)

The Cill Dara Cruise, at 57 km, is a gentle tester for those who spend a bit of time in
the saddle. For those, however, who are not used to doing much cycling, this is a
really good test, and particularly suitable for family participation.

Please note that participants must be aged 10 or over on 19th September 2010.

3. The Roche Ramble – 15 kms (approx)

* Start time – 12.30 sharp
* Entry cost - €20 per family (+ €1.10 on-line booking fee)
or €10 per individual (+ €1.10 on-line booking fee)

This is a fun ramble through the scenic greese valley and taking in the historic
quaker village of Ballitore. It is intended for families and individuals looking for
a leisurely cycle.
