I.V.C.A. CP Kentstown 22nd April, Race report from John Heery

There was a large turnout of Dublin Wheelers for todays 6th race in this years league. The course was over three laps of a circuit totalling 70 km. Six groups were set off and we had riders in all but one of them. While every group seemed to be working well, by the third lap the whole race had come together.

With about five miles to go, Len jumped away with Mick Kinsella. Greg then decided to give it a go and got across to them on his own. These three then held off the chasing bunch to the finish where Len lead out the sprint.
Mick Kinsella came around Len and then Greg unleashed his full power to cross the line first (he made it look so easy!!).
Len took third and Kieran Farrell led in the bunch for 5th place
- a great start to the day for DWCC as another victory came later in the day. Keep it up lads!
